About Our Practice
Long Island Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine Associates is committed to providing New York’s Long Island community with exceptional health care. Our practice specializes in pulmonary diseases, critical care medicine, sleep disorders and internal medicine. We use the most technologically advanced equipment and the newest procedures to help diagnose and treat a broad range of conditions.

Our practice, has been an integral part of the Nassau County medical landscape for years; caring for thousands of patients through our two offices in Rockville Centre, NY and Hempstead, NY.
All of our doctors are board certified in pulmonary medicine, critical care medicine, sleep medicine and internal medicine as well having Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. Our doctors are also active members of the American College of Chest Physicians and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. Our aim is to provide you with the best medical care in a warm, friendly and compassionate environment.

Our Affiliations
We are affilliated with Mount Sinai South Nassau located at 1 Healthy Way Oceanside, NY providing pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine services. Dr. Frank Coletta and Dr. Louis Saffran serve as the hospital's chief and associate chief of critical care. Dr. Saffran also serves as the hospital's medical director for the center for sleep medicine.
